At Teresa Alecrim, to produce our bed collection we use Percal Cotton, in thin threads with over 200 passages, ideal to deliver our products a smoother and resistant feel
To ensure the durability and absorption of our cloths, the kitchen linens are made, totally, of conventional cotton.
The colour choice and the dying process also takes into account our concern with making durable linens.
Our towels and other bath clothing are made of combed cotton, with twisted fibers that allow for greater absorption and resistance.
A Baby’s skin is specially sensitive to rashes and burns caused by cloth and stitchings. Our baby clothes are made of cotton, flannel and cambric, cloths which by nature are more soft and malleable, allowing for greater comfort.
At Teresa Alecrim, the nightgowns made of cambric, flannel and cotton jersey, are a guarantee not only of durability, but also the whole comfort that these cloths demand.
Recently, 100% natural silk nightgowns added value to our collection, through the smoothness of their touch and the comfort offered.
To assure quality and comfort, we give priority to natural fibers, such as ‘mohair’, lambswool, and ‘merino’ wool, one of the finest wools. Some blankets do contain a minor percentage of synthetic fibers to make it easier to wash.
For table cloths the quality of the dyies is as important as the quality of the fabric. The cotton we use for these items, goes through a finishing process to make it brighter and more resistant.
